We at DJN are always on the look out for cities and states trying to bring more accountability and justice to our communities.

We like and support the progress in NC and hope more cities and states will follow- as well as the NC government actually doing what they say!

This system is broken. These people are broken. We need to get at the root cause and it starts with calling out racists, holding them accountable, better protecting our vulnerable communities and educating everyone from early on about the real history of this country.

So many red states and republican parties are scaring parents with critical race theory, when they do not even know what it is!

Ruthless is a great word for Abbott and the republican politicians in TX who think a border wall is still the best use of any time, energy or “donations” from anyone in the world.

While emperor Abbott continues to wax poetic about his wall, white washing education, further oppressing communities and limiting voters, TX is facing record heat and already “unplanned power outages” are occuring and affecting large cities, including Dallas.

A federal judge dismissed anti-vaxxer’s claims that hospitals had no right to tell employees to be vaccinated… more evidence of Texas ignorance and privilege.

When will racist republicans tire of trying to dismantle the actual little justice and change occuring and focus on dismantling their own outdated oppression?

A 22 year old Black Woman was dragged by her hair out of a bar by security for something she did not do…

We at DJN are very aware of wealthy white people and companies, politicians and parties coming at us with their performative promises of anti racism work and justice- but how to tell the difference between lies and genuine attempts at change is key.

The racism in Texas schools keeps getting worse!

A teen was kicked out of her graduation for waving a Mexican flag in the ceremony.

Disturbing is an understatement. and that Austin is leading these mass shootings. People are restless, exhausted, ready to explode. Not enough has been done to restore peace and justice- mental illness and addiction are off the charts. The whole system is broken and it is past time to restructure.

This is one of many reason we are ready to get into action- education is of utmost prority to our cause and Texas is at the top of the list of states ready and willing to limit and white wash education as they continue to oppress Back and Brown communities.

Things are finally getting safe with the virus so we’re going to be getting around town a lot more in the weeks to come.

We’re out in our community on the streets about the problems THEY face.
