Are you passionate about social issues? Do you have a talent for writing about complex topics relevant to Dallas clearly and engagingly? If so, we want you to join our team as a content writer!
As a content writer for our organization, you will be responsible for crafting articles and blog posts on various social issues, including but not limited to racism, sexism, poverty, and inequality. You will work closely with our team to develop compelling content that informs and inspires our readers.
We're looking for someone who is not only a talented writer but also has a deep understanding and empathy for the issues facing our society in Dallas today. You should have a strong sense of social justice and a desire to make a positive impact through your writing.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis on a variety of social issues
Develop engaging and informative articles and blog posts that appeal to a broad audience
Collaborate with our team to create content that aligns with our mission and values
Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in social issues
Adapt writing style to suit different formats and platforms (e.g. social media, newsletters, website)
Qualifications:
Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail
Vital research and analytical skills
Passion for social justice and empathy for those impacted by social issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in content writing preferred but not required
