White Texas Student Assaults Black Teacher
Just another day, another incident of white privilege in Fort Worth…
A White female student at Castleberry High School in Fort Worth was seen on video walking up to her Black female teacher and verbally abusing and violently assaulting her.
The teacher was on the class phone and the student, who remains unidentified, threw a tantrum and was caught saying the following (on a call to her mom):
“I need you to get over here now because this teacher is about to get f***** up if she doesn't get the f*** away from me,' the teen can be heard stating on the phone.
'You want to talk to her because she's black and she's f******* pissing me off right now?”
We are disgusted by this racist, entitled behavior.
The school had not responded even after the video went viral but DJN just heard an investigation is underway and the school posted a response on twitter earlier today:
"Castleberry ISD is aware of, and greatly disturbed by, videos of an incident circulating [on] social media in which a student booms aggressive toward an African American teacher, including attacking the teacher physically and making racially charged comments and threats. We first want to commend the teacher for the calm demeanor and utter professionalism she demonstrated throughout the entirety of the incident, even when the situation turned violent and offensive. We support this teacher and her response in the strongest terms possible."
They claimed to have turned the incident over to authorities due to “criminal activity.”
We agree. This girl is a criminal and better be treated as such!
Ben Crump, well known criminal justice attorney, also responded on twitter, asking:
"My question is can you imagine what she would have been charged with criminally if this was a black student and a white teacher?"
The truth is, we ALL know what would have happened if it was a Black student and a white teacher.
We stand with everyone in Dallas demanding justice, accountability and swift action.
