If There is No Struggle…

“If there is no struggle, there is no progress”
-Frederick Douglass

Every attempt to provide educational opportunities for BIPOC has historically been met with resistance from those who refuse to part with their privilege.

From vicious white mobs who spit in the face of black students entering Little Rock Central High School in 1957, to the angry Boston parents who resisted the bussing policies integrating schools in the 1960s and 1970s, backlash towards progress is nothing new.

While we are hurt by the racist threats we have received, we are committed to our mission of creating educational opportunities for those who, for so long, have faced systemic oppression and harm.
