Come Together Against the Common Enemy

“We are oppressed. We are exploited. We are downtrodden. We are denied not only civil rights, but human rights. So the only way we’re going to get some of this oppression and exploitation away from us or aside from us is come together against the common enemy.” (Malcolm X)

Some Sunday truth from DJN:

We are not here to hate- unlike many of the harmful folks we have encountered lately- hateful, angry folks around Highland Park who are not happy to see us, not willing to talk to us, furious that we would even come near them and suggest they read our pledge, suggest that take action towards reparations and change.

We are here to come together against our common enemies… oppression, exploitation, ignorance, corruption, systemic racism…

What are you here for?

Are you part of what is keeping other humans exploited and oppressed?

Or are you part of liberation and justice?
