Where are Our White Allies, Texas?

White people rejoice today at the federal holiday of Juneteenth.

They get the day off.

But what are you doing, our supposed white Texan allies, with this day, or in general?

*are you supporting Black businesses

*are you donating to Black schools and projects

*are you unlearning your own racism and privilege

*are you teaching your children the truth of history

*are you taking less so Black and Brown co-workers can have more

What are you actually doing for justice and liberation?

Other than that one petition you signed that may have supported the passing of another holiday for big business to profit off of?

Where are our white allies?
