Still Violence

“I must remind you that starving a child is violence. Neglecting school children is violence. Punishing a mother and her family is violence. Discrimination against a working man is violence. Ghetto housing is violence. Ignoring medical need is violence. Contempt for poverty is violence.”

― Coretta Scott King

So much focus right now is on the government, but people are suffering in our communities right now- mainly BIPOC. Violence is rampant in the world, but we must not forget the daily violence inflicted by systemic racism and corruption. By not offering equal health care, financial support, accessible education, we continue to be complicit in the violence that will plague us long after Covid is gone.

We need action and justice!
