Revolution

“Revolution is not a one time event.”
Audre Lorde

This is one of our favorite quotes from Black Lesbian author/artist/activist/ancestor Audre Lorde.

While there are moments of victory in our journey and glimpses of liberation, as BIPOC, we are continually fatigued and exhausted by the continual work of revolution. The persistance and insidiousness of COVID and the current election has given some less oppressed people an idea of the battle we face for freedom and equality, truth and safety, but there is still so far to go. May we rest where we can but remain awake and ready to dive deeper into the layers of systemic oppression and corruption that harm all life on this planet.
