Measuring Success
“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.”
Booker T Washington
What obstacles have you overcome?
What obstacles are still in your path?
A successful life, for us, is not one of fame or prestige, but one of change- changing ourselves, our communities, the world.
People do not like to change and many benefit from keeping the culture as it is, but we are willing to rise up to meet each obstacle if it will bring freedom and justice.
What about you?
