Liberating Minds

“We have to talk about liberating minds as well as liberating society.”

Angela Davis

(Angela Yvonne Davis is an American political activist, philosopher, academic and author. She is a professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz.)

Liberation and education go hand in hand.

As much as it is unfortunate to have to piecemeal Black History into one month, it is an opportunity for sudden liberation of minds.

Since last summer, when the brutal murder of George Floyd flared up a much needed resurgence in the social justice movement, many people have been waking up- but this is a movement of generations.

It is never too little or too late for liberation. Start by liberating your mind by learning the truth of history and your own belief systems.
