Leadership
“I never saw myself as an individual who had any particular leadership powers.” – Angela Davis
Often, the greatest leaders are those that never tried to lead. They were true to themselves. They were true to justice, freedom, the causes they believed in and were passionate about. They spoke up because they had to, their heart and soul demanded it.
and sometimes, it was not the time and place to be heard, and their leadership was lost on their peers- but their future descendants heard the message, saw the vision and followed their wisdom.
That is why we need every one of us to do the work to speak up and take action.
Maybe you do not see yourself as a leader and maybe those around you won't see it either, but the ripple effect of billions of people standing up and leading with their freedom is beyond our capacity to imagine. This is part of the revolution.
