Justice for Cedric Lofton!

Information is just starting to come out that another young Black teen was killed by cops.- now that his death has been ruled a homicide.

This time in Kansas.

Cedric Lofton, 17 years old, died September 26th, 2021 in Wichita, after his “ankles were placed in shackles, his wrists were handcuffed behind his back, and officers rolled him onto his chest — what’s known as the prone position.”

In other words, he was helpless and the police, who already had him in custody, took his life.

The offense?

the police responded to a call that described the teen “exhibiting erratic and aggressive behavior” toward his foster family…

No gun, no weapon.

Cops were called to de-escalate the situation, they took him, restrained him and killed him.

After George Floyd died the same way.

After so many Black and Brown bodies have died the same way. Helpless, harmless and left to die.

Sick. Insane. Evil.

Our hearts go out to his soul and his family.

We add to the demands that these cops be held acceptable and that police be banned from holding people in the prone position. It is inhumane and unnecessary.
