I’m For Truth…
“I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it is for or against. I'm a human being, first and foremost, and as such I'm for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole.”
Just 2 days after the 56th anniversary of Malcolm X's assassination, we still find so much trength and power in his words.
His life was taken far too soon by the systems of oppression he fought against with his final breath. But his legacy will never fade.
This quote, so raw and real. We have to be for truth and justice, even if it does not always match our ideals.
We are human beings foremost and saving humanity is our mission.
And those who do not see us all as humans, those who do not believe some lives or truths matter a smuch as others, are not part of this path for justice.
Malcolm X was an African American Muslim minister and human rights activist who was a popular figure during the civil rights movement. He is best known for his time spent as a vocal spokesman for the Nation of Islam. He was born 5/19/25 and was killed 2/21/65. His murder is still under investigation.
