If You Are Neutral…

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” – Desmond Tutu

(Desmond Tutu is a South African Angelical cleric, theologian, and human rights activist. In the 1970s and 80s, he spoke out against apartheid and drew international attention to the racial injustice of the system. In 1984, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace.)

This quote from Tutu never gets old as it expresses the importance of being vocal about injustice and taking a side.

There is no such thing as neutral when violence is happening every day in a thousand different ways!

Either you are on the side of justice and freedom, or you are on the side of the oppressor.

That’s it. Thise are your options.

What do you choose?
