Gratitude 6

We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.

Martin Luther King, Jr

Another MLK classic that supports gratitude as the sibling of forgiveness which are the children of love. Moving from hate will only harm our purpose, we must gather gratitude, forgiveness and love as lasting fuel in the revolution. MLK and many other ancestors have spoken to how necessay it is that we do not allow the bitterness and rage to poison us, rather than the oppressors.
