End the Filibuster

What is the point of having a Democrat president and majority if the the republicans can filibuster every move?

This must end now.

They just filibustered equal pay… they have no interest in reparations, equality, peace…

So they must be held accountable.

“Senate Republicans have just filibustered the Paycheck Fairness Act, legislation to help address the gender pay gap in America. Because we were unable to get a supermajority of 60 senators to agree, the bill died in the Senate.

Meanwhile, women continue to earn on average 81 cents for every dollar a man makes. The figures are even worse for women of color. Black women earn only 63 cents and Latinas only 55 cents for each dollar earned by a white male.

This obstruction of necessary legislation must end NOW. Senate Democrats must immediately eliminate the filibuster!

This has to be a HUGE wake up call for our Democratic senators. Our Democratic leaders who refuse to eliminate the filibuster are not listening to their constituents and the majority of Americans.

We will not continue to allow the filibuster to be used to continue to block justice and equity. Democrats have the majority in the Senate. Now they must eliminate the filibuster and use that majority to pass legislation that we all need and want.”
