As we watch our children's education unravel due to the effects of the pandemic, we see more clearly how uneven and unequal it has always been.

This quote from Baldwin clarifies the importance of true education, and yet why an oppressive culture would not want that- why they are not trying harder to make sure our children learn truth and develop the skills necessary to thrive. The more our children learn, the more questions they will ask.
