It is a choice, every day. I choice to choose the well being of others over self. This does not mean we do not practice self care, but that ultimately, our actions, like the wise indigenous nations before us advise, must reflect the consideration of our ancestors, our brothers and sisters, and our descendants.

It is not hard to see how greed, corruption, racism, division sow seeds of continued disease and discord for the near and far future.

Every day we choose. We decide who we will be and what legacy we leave.

May we choose justice, creativity, strength and freedom.
