Cowardice asks the question - is it safe?

Expediency asks the question - is it politic?

Vanity asks the question - is it popular?

But conscience asks the question - is it right?

Seeing so much cowardice, expediency and vanity in our city and country this morning. The conscience of this country is under question and under fire and we must stand up now to do what is right!
