Carrying the Load

“It’s not the load that breaks you down; it’s the way you carry it.”

-Lena Horne

(first African American to have a long-term contract with a Hollywood studio)

are you feeling the burden? the burden of oppression, the burden of financial or bodily fear?

now more than ever we are carrying immensely heavy loads. BIPOC have always carried more than their fair share.

while ideally, this burden would be shared and lightened by those in power, ultimately, we each have to learn how to carry it. how to adjust our spine and shoulders, how to breathe into our belly and back. How to access inner strength and creatvity.

we are here to help you adjust, we are here to empower. But we each have to start with adjusting our own load.
