Act As If

“You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.”

– Angela Davis

The word radical means to get to the root.

Acting as if it were possible to change the world is not faking it.

It is not rose colored glasses. It is an outer attitude that combats exhaustion, burnout, fatigue and hopelessness.

It is the foundation of activism that fuels our belief in justice.

Also, acting is not thinking. Yes, we have moments where our thoughts are shaken and fears arise- but our actions remain fixed on transformation.
